My background is mainly arts orientated having studied fine art here in England and consequently becoming senior colour artist and then studio manager for a fine art publishing company near London until going freelance in 2005 to concentrate on my own projects including art exhibitions in London with work also on show recently in New York. However, I lived in Sweden a while with my then Swedish partner and have always taken great interest in the language and the country and my skills in the language can be regarded as fluent with the written skills as near native. I did, in fact, pass a test with the BBC in Foreign Media Monitoring in Swedish and have carried out ad-hoc translation over the years. I have also have experience of comedy writing for radio with a second place in a national comedy award run in conjunction with the BBC. Interests include art, painting, guitar, languages, photography. music of all kinds and generally being out there and being creative
