Profile
I am a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I have lived there for most of my life, growing up in a large bilingual and bicultural family. I wanted to improve my Spanish so I attended the University of Southern Mississippi and earned a B.A. in Spanish Secondary Education in 2004. During my time in school, I was able to complete a semester in Madrid Spain for the study abroad program. Since my graduation, I have had the opportunity to return to Spain and visit other magnificent areas. I currently reside in Florida with my beautiful son, where I work as an educator for a public school district. At present, I am working towards a M.A. in Global Affaris with a specialty in Translation Studies from the University of Denver. In the future, I hope to be able to do more traveling, teaching, and translating.
