Profile: Caroline Moreno is a professional freelance translator, who moved to China after having studied Chinese in the United States for about eight years. Mrs. Moreno traveled all over China for about a month in July 2006, and then continued her Chinese studies at Dalian University of Technology in Northeast China from August 2006-January 2007. In bustling Shanghai and scenic Suzhou, in the wilds of Jiuzhaigou and ancient Xi'an, the ice festival in Harbin and, of course, cosmopolitan, oceanside Dalian (just to name a few), Caroline has used her Chinese firsthand and learned a lot about China! During the summer of 2008, Caroline had the privilege of seeing the Olympics in person, she stayed and traveled with Chinese friends, visited new and exotic sites, and returned to interesting places from the past. Caroline holds a B.A. in History, has taken several graduate-level college courses in Chinese translation, and is currently pursuing a Master's in Liberal Studies.
