Profile: I am an undergraduate college student with a major of International Studies. I was born and raised in Russia, Moscow. I moved to New York 7-8 years ago, and learned English here in high school. I enjoy doing translations, and in some ways that is how I learned English mostly by myself - by translating words and phrases that I did not understand into Russian. Prior to be in Watching America, I did a few translations in Russian/American magazines and have tutoring experience which involved translations. I am excited to be in WA, because it would not only improve my English, translation and writing skills, but most importantly I would be useful to others and be a part of a bigger cause for the better.
