Profile
I have had the opportunity to move to a different country twice in my life. The first time was when I moved from Ecuador back to the US with my family. The second time the transition was a little bit more extreme, and it was when I moved alone to Israel (a country which I have never been before) at the age of 18. I can say that both experiences have been the most fulfilling and enriching times of my life. At the moment I live in NYC I do volunteering work with an organization for new immigrants in the Brokx, NY and work while I wait from the Peace Corps to tell me where I will be serving in July (hopefully). I am really interested in the study, analysis and understanding of current events and the world as a global village. My Academic interest is to use my passion for new cultures, visual arts and media influence in an international realm to help the Latin American community I come from. I have a wide range of personal interests: Economy, world politics, environment and current events, photojournalism, documentary filming/ cinematography, music/ playing guitar, visual arts, traveling, different cultures , Philosophy, etc. Mainly learning as the means to true understanding and happiness.
