A Jordanian newspaper, Al-Dustour, confirmed yesterday that misinformation and media bias based on fraudulent facts are flagrantly highlighted today in a fierce media campaign.
It is based in large part on the incitement and distortion of events. When these events were amplified, the United States took a stand against Syria, which also faces American and European armed terrorist gangs. The conspiring and circulating media, through its satellites, show these gangs as popular opposition movements. They do so in order to destabilize the security and stability in Syria, and to paralyze the country’s ability to respond to the colonial designs that seek to drain the wealth of the region and serve the interests of the West and Israel simultaneously.
Fouad Dabour, secretary general of the Baath Progressive Party in Jordan, said in an article, published yesterday in Al-Dustour, that the United States and its strategic allies within the Zionist entity funnel through disinformation directed against Arab countries and others to justify their policies of hegemony upon the Arab world.
Dabour called on the Arab people to understand that they should uncover and detect this misguided campaign by the Western media against the Arab nations. It is also necessary to stop the media from publishing and broadcasting the rumors and incitements that undermine Syrian Arabs who adhere to national principles and advocate issues concerning the Arab people.
He believes that some satellite channels and the Arab media are straying from the professionally honest code of honor by broadcasting untrue and unrealistic scenes and images. The Arab audience should address the circle of deception by revealing the facts and the realities of the Arab writers and broadcasters who should be committed to their professional honor, service and protection of the causes of the Arab people.
