American Specialists Were Preparing to Frame Russians

Against Russia, there are no holds barred. In this, it seems U.S. government personnel are on the same page as their spiritual father Joseph Goebbels. As you may recall, an infamous provocation involving the arson of the Reichstag allowed the German Nazis to crush their political opponents. World War II began with a no less infamous provocation when SS soldiers, disguised in Polish uniforms, attacked German border guards. American diplomats are planning roughly the same kinds of operations, obviously not realizing with what they are fraught.

Some hackers, acting on behalf of Anonymous Ukraine, hacked into and posted the correspondence between some very interesting people and Igor Protsyk, a high-level officer of the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and chief of the Bilateral Military Cooperation Division at the International Military Cooperation and Air Defense headquarters. Most likely, they hacked into the account of Protsyk himself because he was in fact the intermediary between an assistant army attache at the U.S. embassy in Ukraine, Lt. Col. Jason P. Gresh, and militants and field commanders from Right Sector. And there is every reason to believe that what is being referred to below is a joint operation that was given the go-ahead from the top, both in Kiev and the United States. You see, what we are talking about is a so-called “gray” operation, not a “black” operation, only because it had to be done without any dead bodies and not in terms of the degree of secrecy.

So let’s begin. On March 9, Jason Gresh sends Igor Protsyk a message.*

Igor,

Events are moving quickly in Crimea. Our friends in Washington expect more decisive actions from your network.

I think it’s time to implement the plan we’ve been discussing as of late. Your objective is to cause some problems at the transport hubs in the southeast in order to frame the neighbor.

It will create favorable conditions for the Pentagon and the Company to begin to act.

Don’t waste time, my friend.

Respectfully,

JP

“Don’t waste time, my friend,” the American urges the Ukrainian officer from the general staff. Heh, he forgot that for a man of Ukraine’s general staff, March 8 is quite the holiday, and if on top of it there is a three-day weekend, you could steal his Finnish raincoat that day, and he would only say, “To hell with the Finnish raincoat!” and continue raising and giving voice to toasts “to lovely ladies.”

In short, Protsyk goes about implementing the “plans discussed” long ago only on the morning of March 11. And he sends a message as follows to the address of a certain Vasyl Labaichuk.

Subj: Aggressive action in Melitopol

Date: Tue, 11 Mar 2014 05:50:35 -0700

Vasyl, you need to very promptly take aggressive action in Melitopol. The 25th Air Transport Brigade is there. You have to sully our sworn friends and good neighbors. I think you understand me.

Just proceed carefully and cautiously. The 25th Brigade are on combat missions right now, so don’t do any major damage to the planes. There are planes there that are already damaged and you can do whatever you want with them. You will be given their registration numbers. Remember, everything has to look like a real attack by Russian special forces.

The brigade commander there is a smart man. He won’t know the details, but if worst comes to worst, you can turn to him. We will warn him.

———-

But Vasyl Labaichuk is no ordinary person. He is one of the coordinators of Right Sector and one of the leaders of the organization Trident, on the basis of which Right Sector itself was created.

Vasyl, as coordinator, now assigns the task to specific actors while not forgetting to send a copy of the message to Protsyk for reporting.

Subj: Urgent need to stir things up

Date: Tue, 11 Mar 2014 09:20:46 -0700

Oleg, you urgently need to stir things up in the name of the Russkies at the air base in Melitopol. It has to be done before March 15. You understand why.

First of all, you need to get in touch with Pashka Tarasenko. You should know him – he’s from the local Svoboda branch and he’s in on the plan.

Ten to twelve guys from the Center will be coming to you. Trident’s best fighters. Misha is in charge of them – you should know him too. You’ll learn the details from him. You have to meet up with these people and get them everything they need.

Proceed with caution. Speak only in Russian. The 25th Brigade is carrying out combat missions right now, so don’t do any major damage to the planes. There are a lot of scrap planes there and you can do whatever you want with them. They’ll point out the damaged planes to you. It is imperative that everything looks like a real attack by the neighbor’s special forces. But no dead bodies.

Give me your account information again. The money will arrive on time. Don’t worry.

See the attached file. It’s just an example of what to do. Decide what to do on your own.

———-

In this correspondence, the mention of money, the request to remind of the account information, etc. are not even important. What is important is that everything is planned to look like an operation by Russian special forces. And it’s even more important that the Pentagon and with it the mysterious “Company” are vitally interested in this in order to have a free hand to take action. I wonder, what kind of action? And I wonder, does the American President, Mr. Barack Obama, know about this? Or is he okay with his staff taking the Goebbels-Hitler path of provocation toward unleashing a new world war?

And something tells me that even if bodies suddenly turned up as a consequence of a perpetrator’s excess, it would be written off as “acceptable losses.” Well, whatever, yet another “heavenly hundred” would have been formed in the name of “revolution.” After all, all of this was prepared by officers of Ukraine’s general staff, American specialists, and with the use of militants with the aim of framing Russia.

Truly, with friends like these, who needs enemies?

P.S. Computer experts have confirmed to Komsomolskaya Pravda the hacking of the email account and its owner’s appeals to customer service about the hacking.

*Translator’s note: In the original Komsomolskaya Pravda article, a Russian-language version of each email is given first, followed by the alleged actual email in its original language in parentheses. In the case of the email attributed to Mr. Gresh, the original email was written in English, while the other two emails were written in Ukrainian. Translations of only the Russian versions of the three emails are presented in the body of this article translation so as to provide the reader the perspective of a Russian speaker reading the original article. The email purportedly authored by Mr. Gresh, however, is cited below in its original form. Tellingly, it contains many linguistic elements — from the omission of “the” before “Pentagon” and the hyphenation of “south-east” to phraseology such as “favorable conditions” — which are characteristic of Russian. Indeed, it reads like an (inept) English translation of a Russian text:

Ihor,

Events are moving rapidly in Crimea. Our friends in Washington expect more decisive actions from your network.

I think it’s time to implement the plan we discussed lately. Your job is to cause some problems to the transport hubs in the south-east in order to frame-up the neighbor.

It will create favorable conditions for Pentagon and the Company to act.

Do not waste time, my friend.

Respectfully,

JP
