Trump is a Guide for Terrorism, a Trigger for Violence and a Leader in Hatred

If anyone is responsible for the heinous crime that was broadcast live during Friday prayers in the Noor Mosque in New Zealand, it is the American president, Donald Trump, and his right-leaning extremist administration. Trump bears the burden of responsibility for this crime and for others like it. He is likewise responsible for incitement and calling for crimes like this. He gave rise to this crime and incited its perpetrators. Perhaps he, more than most people, was happy about the crime and even rejoiced in it: he did not condemn the crime, nor did he call it terrorism. His racist tweets – which we are by now used to – ooze with hatred and racism and incitement to violence. Yet three days passed and he remained silent about the crime in New Zealand and did not tweet about it. He was silent and did not condemn it and perhaps was glad in not having done so. Perhaps he stayed silent until he was sure that the bloody events weren’t carried out by Muslims. Only then did he offer his help to New Zealand and express solidarity with its government.

Since he entered the White House as president of the United States, Trump has introduced abhorrent, racist regulations against Arabs and Muslims. He has called for restrictions on their entry to the U.S. and for getting rid of those who are there. He banned citizens of many Islamic countries from entering the United States. He dispatched his security and judicial apparatus to prosecute Muslim immigrants, to get Muslims out of the country and to prevent them from enjoying their privileges and rights as Americans. Today he still looks at Muslims with racism, supremacism and contempt, and describes them in the most despicable terms.

Under President Trump’s administration, the use of firearms against Muslims living in the U.S. has increased. American cities have witnessed shooting at mosques and at worshipers or those who are on their way to pray. Muslims are feeling more fear and anxiety after these repeated incidents. Yet the perpetrators enjoy special protection by the Trump administration and perhaps even feel encouragement or an understanding of their positions. The American president does not see their actions as crimes and does not feel any responsibility for what they do. It may be that he does not recognize Muslims as people or as fellow human beings equal to him in their humanity or deserving of rights.

It is the racist American policy to support the greatest Zionist terrorist in occupied Palestine. America cares for the entity and protects it. And yet America is silent when it comes to Israel’s crimes and signs off on its aggressions by providing it with weapons and money and bolstering it with policies and resolutions. This makes America a pioneer in terrorism, a leader in extremism and responsible for the current disorder. It changes the standards and violates the norms of the free world which denounces and condemns Israel and exposes its practices and tricks. The rest of the free world rejects the U.S. for the inconsistency in its policies. The U.S. policy toward Israel is the source of oppression, chaos and war. It incites division and is the basis of instability in the entire world.

May God have mercy on the martyrs in the two mosques. May he have mercy on all the victims and the dead. May he have mercy on those everywhere who fell as a result of terrorism carried out by the Zionist entity and by America which made it, directs it, protects it, provides for it and spreads it.
