Is Henoko truly the only option?

For that matter, as a democratic nation, it’s inexcusable for the US to turn a blind eye to the desires of Japan’s citizenry.
There is no such thing as a policy without options. It’s time the Japanese and American governments consider an option besides Henoko.
By forcibly pursuing construction because the previous governor granted reef destruction permission, it’s all but certain the people's opposition to the base relocation will never be swayed.
The US is the very party that most wants to see this base relocation carried out, and I’d like to see them stop with this cowardly masquerade of trying to hide behind smokescreens.
