Concept of Design and Original Layout
Elizabeth Schwartz is the Web Designer for Watching America. She is self-taught in computer programming. She has a degree in politics with a minor in history from Earlham College, a Quaker school in Indiana. As of 2014 she lives on the road, learning about sustainable living and experiencing various communes and intentional communities across the United States.
Implementation and Custom Programming
Kyle Moore (user profile) implemented Elizabeth’s design, modified the theme to accommodate the custom variables of Watching America’s database, and wrote a script to automatically import publication information from Wikipedia.
