The United States and the European Union (mainly those countries in the Euro zones and the United Kingdom), the world's two largest economies, do not share the same view as to how to cope with the financial crisis--- a sign that shows the two sides are competing for the leading role in the international financial market.
It looks like Westernization has come to an end. In the 2020s, three out of the four largest economies in the world will be in Asia: China, leading the U.S., and India with Japan following them.
Although, systematic discrimination against blacks has been eradicated, from a socio-economic perspective, they have been left far behind...Will President Obama be able to handle and address the fundamental issues facing the black community in the U.S.?
