Obama Conquers New Hampshire Republican Stronghold

A new President will be elected in the United States today. Barack Obama can already celebrate one small success: he won the vote in a small New Hampshire town that traditionally posts the earliest results because the residents are allowed to vote in the early minutes of election day. For the last 40 years, the Republican candidate has always emerged victorious. National surveys also point to a Republican defeat and victory for Obama, who also must deal with sad news.
