War opposing Americans presented their farewell to U.S. President Bush during a demonstration in Washington last night by throwing shoes at his pictures.
A group, composed of veterans and opposers of war, called “America Progressive Democracy” organized a demonstration against the wars that Bush began in Iraq, Afghanistan and other areas.
The participants said that they were inspired by Iraqi journalist, Muntathar Al-Zaidi, who threw his shoes at Bush in a press conference.
They consider throwing as a simple demonstration against what widows and orphans face in Iraq; they expressed their support towards the Iraqi people and those who lost their lives due to a huge lie.
