America’s Middle Eastern Strategy: Let the Local Players Play and Let’s Await the Results

Barack Obama studied with historians of the colonialist period, the world wars and the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union.

He ended up governing the United States, which was attempting to redraw its international strategy after the 9/11 attacks as well as attempting to rebuild the institutions which had been neglected due to the rules of the Cold War and military tactics. The enemy had penetrated the fences after the New York attacks and this demanded a different policy and a rebuilding of the institutions to go along with the new policies and to prevent any further, more dangerous enemies arriving in the United States. So he spent the first part of his term in a state of indecision and he lived through the financial crisis which still poses a threat to the entire American economy.

Obama saw that he had to stop the enormous amount of spending he had inherited on wars which America started outside of her own borders. This meant withdrawing the forces and bringing them home. So he withdrew from Iraq, leaving behind a war-torn country consumed by U.S. sponsored sectarianism. He is now preparing for a speedier withdrawal from Afghanistan as he fears for his troops for whom Afghan revolutionaries lie in wait. Now he is distancing himself from the Middle East, having established an alliance (for an indefinite time period) with a country dressed in the Islamic style onto which hundreds of millions were lavished in order to take the reins of power in more than one country (and this is still continuing). He has given Netanyahu complete freedom of action in the Middle East up to the borders of Iran.

Benjamin Netanyahu majored in Marketing during his studies at university, then he worked in marketing in the United States before heading to Israel and renouncing his American citizenship. He is a skilled expert and a specialist in marketing towards the United States and the leaders of the Jewish community in the United States used to consider him a spoiled child genius (as they still do). He spoke fluently and so they considered him extremely eloquent and he was handsome, so at that time, they thought of him as the horse that could win any race in America.

He was “the favored guest” at private clubs and the houses of the rich, as well as being popular with their young daughters who were looking for a handsome husband like Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, Netanyahu become famous for the fact that he could skillfully sell a fast 70-year-old racing car to rich Jews and Americans: in other words, that he was capable of convincing Americans to be killed or to die and for them to actually be happy about it!

Netanyahu planned an expert marketing strategy for the deal and he was keen to sell Barack Obama on what he wanted with respect to Iran: not war, but a political and diplomatic solution, holding up what happened in North Korea as the example.

Benjamin Netanyahu was extremely successful at this; he gathered all his American support from among rich Jews and wealthy elderly people and conservative Christians and Zionists and their groups in Congress and he went to face Obama, armed with their support. Obama was advised by everyone who was loyal to him not to confront Netanyahu because he had more important issues to focus on and because he had another term to serve.

One of them, a failed history student, said “What is the importance of Palestine and the Palestinians to us? We have other far more important priorities, let them look after their affairs and we’ll look after ours,” and Obama backed down.

At that time, Netanyahu began to reap the benefits in terms of expansion in Palestine and colonial control over the land of the West Bank without any supervision. Additionally, he began to sell another topic in order to reap even more benefits: war against Iran or what has been labeled the pre-emptive strike against the Iranian nuclear program.

Netanyahu told those who were loyal to him in Obama’s entourage that the Iranian issue was one of the priorities which the president’s advisor spoke to him about and this advisor had suggested leaving the Palestinian issue to Netanyahu.

That was when Netanyahu’s war drums began to sound increasingly loudly and became more intimidating.

Netanyahu’s thieving strategy focused on creating confidence within the relevant Washington departments — the CIA, the Pentagon and the State Department — about the fact that Israel was preparing to strike Iranian nuclear reactors and missile factories!

When the American/Israeli high weapons and missile committee discussed the Israeli requests for swarms of F35 planes and depth charges, the White House became increasingly scared about the Israeli adventure which was involving America in something she did not wish to be involved in.

During the operation, the American military adjunct and high-level American officers were invited to the Iron Domes (used to protect against ballistic missiles) and the Israelis made a huge effort to convince the Americans to really prepare to strike Iran’s reactors.

There is no doubt that a number of Israeli politicians (outside the government) and objective journalists fell into this trap and gave their views, something which further escalated the campaign.

Netanyahu released a resolution which was distributed as widely as possible in order to prevent officials from making any statement which affected the Iranian issue and so the Americans became more concerned…

CIA agents worked in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in order to arrive at the truth and to come to the same conclusion which had been quoted to Obama. Netanyahu prepared to direct a strike against Iran and wanted America’s blessing. However, the decision was to direct a strike against Iran even if America was opposed to the idea.

Obama fell into the trap of “marketing expert” Benjamin Netanyahu so he invited Netanyahu to visit Washington as soon as possible (despite Obama being embroiled in his own American battles) and requested to see him via an unprecedented speech announcing the American president’s submission to Israel which was presented at an AIPAC conference.

Netanyahu did not delay the meeting; instead he went to the United States and held meetings with the [Israel] Lobby and the legislators who support him, as well as Zionist Christians (the neoconservative supporters of Falwell).

Obama had previously requested help from some pro-Israel members of Congress in order to convince Netanyahu that it is not in America’s interest to direct a strike against Iran and that the solution America sees is a political and diplomatic one, in the same way that they dealt with Korea.

During the meeting Netanyahu let Obama talk for most of the time (without commenting). This was because he had already made use of all his weapons and had fired off all his rounds before he met with the American president.

He considered (like a crafty trader) that it was now Obama’s turn to name the right price.

Israel will not direct a strike against Iran in return for America providing her with the latest elements of the U.S. military arsenal so that Israel might remain strong as a regional power.

America will not place any pressure on Israel with regard to expansion.

The colonialist settlement builder or negotiations or the two-state solution: America will exert pressure on the Arab regimes both new and old so as not to stir up the issue of Palestine or the Palestinian case in local, European and international forums.

Obama issued some orders while Netanyahu was there; the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the secretary of Defense pledged Israel the means for military superiority.

Obama sent a speedy message to the Palestinian powers that they should “lower their expectations.”

And Netanyahu profited from the deal.

What’s next?

The colonialist settlements are still alive and well and there is no war between Iran and Israel.

The plan for Western agents to wear Islamic dress in Egypt, Arab Morocco, Libya, Yemen and Syria is still continuing following the alliance which Mr. Clinton established with the new wearers of this dress.

The train is speedily continuing on its way and nationalists are calling for a stick to be put between its wheels.

Shouting is of no use here…work is what is required.

And work starts with the answer to the question:

What is Israel afraid of? And is it not the same thing that the United States is afraid of?

Obama’s policy can be summed up by saying “let them carry on” but the meaning here is that we let the different elements of the conflict interact on the ground without the United States getting involved, with the exception of events which really threaten the fall of its allies.

If this is America’s new strategy (even for a year) then nationalists must benefit from it and the key here is once again Palestine.

Palestinians are currently living in the shadow of a constant worry, the source of which is the constant attacks launched by the occupying army and the armed colonists (regular soldiers do not wear uniforms). The occupiers’ attacks affect the people, the rocks and the trees. The ropes of the blockade are tightening around the necks of the Palestinians more and more every day.

The mass advancements are just the start: peaceful protests demanding freedom and justice…

The authorities are not expected to take advantage of this situation as they are far away from it all but we expect the Palestinian people not to threaten the security of the presidency or central security or the police.

If mass government or peaceful resistance has been unleashed then that is what concerns Israel.

Israel will not put up with these protests but will fire on them instead and repress them. Netanyahu will join the Middle East club in the eyes of the world. And these protests will reveal the truth about Israel, which is essentially a fox, and the deceit of Netanyahu saying he would change it. The mask of false democracy will fall away and there is no doubt that the temperature of this movement will move onto the Arab streets and the storm will clear even if it is slow in coming.
