A Disastrous Week For Candidate Romney

While the Republican Convention will make history for the strange moment of the senile and babbling actor Clint Eastwood and the Bush-style lies from the vice presidential candidate Ryan, the Democrat Convention will be remembered as the return of a president to save another president.
Either way, neither millionaires' political shows, despite being orchestrated beforehand, could reverse the political opinion that, according to polls, gave the lead to President Obama.
Furthermore, during the course of this week, the results of the polls have given a fierce hit to the right wing Willard Milton "Mitt" Romney. According to Fox's polls, Obama overpowers Romney by 48 percent to 43 percent and according to CBS polls by 49 percent to 46 percent.
Romney's beat down was the hardest in the battlefield states. The NBC/Wall Street Journal poll reveals that in Ohio, Obama beats Romney by 50 percent to 43 percent, in Florida 49 percent to 44 percent and in Virginia 49 percent to 44 percent.
While the number of independent voters increases, weary of both dominant parties and of the political status quo, the number of indecisive voters, the media's favorites, decrease every day. This is important to point out if it's taken into account that both parties carry out traditional campaigns.
Clinton's Comeback
President Clinton's passionate speech at the Democratic Convention not only transformed him into the most popular politician of the moment, but also gave him political oxygen that Obama needed in order to be able to keep on breathing the presidency.
Only Democratic values can restore the middle class, said Clinton, while in an eloquent and founded manner he refuted point by point the Republican arguments that were hoisted threateningly at their convention. Clinton complained about the nonexistent cooperation between both parties and characterized Obama as the president that wants to reconstruct the bipartisan spirit.
"President Obama started with a much weaker economy than I did. No president — not me or any of my predecessors – could have repaired all the damage in just four years, " said Clinton.
The truth is that the Explainer-in-Chief, as he is starting to be called, did a formidable job in explaining Obama's work over these past four years, with much more eloquence than the President himself.
Romney Ruined Romney's Party
The balloons, paraphernalia and arrogance of the Republican Convention were ultimately useless to Romney. With his political clumsiness he himself managed to ruin the few hopes that may have arisen during the convention.
The week was plagued by political slips and basic mistakes characteristic of those starting up in politics. His first statements concerning the death of four diplomats in Libya were about bashing Obama even before he disavowed the attack itself. His unclear position about Iran that is the same as Obama's but "different from Obama's."
Romney's effort to get ahead is worthless. Generally, in cases of external dispute, the public opinion supports the current president at the time. Besides, foreign policy doesn't define the elections; the character and the cunning of the candidates are what define the future president.
