The Navy SEALs are trained to blitz in North Carolina, in a perfect reconstruction of the head of al-Qaida's fort. A piece of Pakistan faithfully rebuilt in the most unthinkable spot: a bay in North Carolina, not far from the beaches facing the Atlantic, where thousands of American families spend their summer holidays.

Here, in Harvey Point, the CIA made a faithful reconstruction of the blockhouse Osama Bin Laden was hiding in for the special Navy SEALs forces. Before Navy SEAL Team 6 launched an assault on the al-Qaida leader’s hideaway in Abbottabad in May 2011, the raid had been rehearsed in the simulator to exasperation.

The existence of Bin Laden's fake "compound" in North Carolina has been revealed in the book "No Easy Day" by one of the Team 6 members, but now images are also appearing thanks to the internet and satellites. The Atlantic has revealed that, according to Microsoft Bing's maps, the reconstruction of Osama's hideaway made by the CIA is still visible: It is the one you can see in the picture on this page.

The curious thing is, in contrast, on the latest Google Maps, the same area is destroyed, erased, as experts from Cryptome.org, a company specializing in satellite measurements, found out. The same fate as the real stronghold, where the leader of al-Qaida was found and killed.
