It seems that the Arab regimes that are conspiring against Syria are no longer ashamed to disclose their work for global Zionism as they call for Syria’s destruction.
At times, they beg for foreign military assistance. Sometimes they demand more aggressive resolutions against the Syrian people. If this tells us anything, it is the extent of the political and moral corruption in those regimes that have torn off their Arab garb and have fallen into the embrace of the West. They are only interested in how they might further please the West.
Through his dubious calls for Arab intervention in Syria, the emir of Qatar wanted to be the first in the bloody race with his Arab counterparts to prove his loyalty to Zionist leaders. This bloody race represents an American/Israeli proxy war designed to destroy Syria and plunge it into a spiral of chaos and violence. They have also tried to twist Syria’s arm (nearly pulling it out of socket), which is just what imperialist nations have wanted for decades. However, their defeat is — and always will be — certain.
We find the new Egyptian president panting after a handful of dollars and funding from Turkey and the Gulf as he diminishes the role of Egypt in the Arab world. Speaking in the name of the Syrian people, he has said that his mind will not be at ease until the Syrian regime is toppled [while] somehow managing to maintain a straight face. All the while, he is bombing tunnels in Gaza with the help of the Zionist entity that is tightening the noose around the Palestinian people. He stands on the sidelines as the people of Bahrain are murdered at the hands of Saudi squadrons. Perhaps all that he wants today is to be a mere pawn on the American chess board, or a loyal lord in the new Ottoman empire after he brings Egypt into the Jahiliyyah era* once more.
The Tunisian president and the Gulf leaders are not different at all: They are under the illusion that Syria will fall and are working hard to that end. They are preparing for the period after its fall to reap what meager rewards they can, all at the expense of Syrian lives. They should have exploited their resources in support of the Arab resistance against the Zionist entity. Here, [if] those reactionary regimes had done half of what the Syrian people did, then Palestine would have been returned to the Arab fold and the Zionist occupation would have collapsed. It is preposterous that these regimes insist that their policies be formed by the Americans and Zionists. But their time will not be long. Ultimately, the will of the people will win out.
