Prohibition Is Better Than Dismissal

The American President Barack Obama cannot give a new speech to the Islamic world from Cairo University. Obama might be on an assassin’s hit list after abandoning the Muslim Brotherhood and the deposed president. Obama’s speech in front of the United Nations clearly reflects this abandonment. In addition to speaking about terrorism and the need to annihilate it, Obama has accepted as a fait accompli the Egyptian transitional government and pledged support for it.

Obama admitted for the first time that Egypt faces terrorism. He admitted that Morsi was not a president in the general sense of the word. He was incapable and lacking in political will and ability. What Obama forgot to say is that he was a “sack of guava.”* He also forgot to say that there was someone ruling from behind a curtain. This someone sits in the guide’s office and not in the presidential palace.** In any case, there has been a change in the American position. Therefore, he admitted that Egypt suffers from terrorism!

I don’t know what got into Obama that caused him to say it. Did he know about the decision banning the group, the association and the organization? Was he talking about the dangers of this political prohibition? Was he indicating that? Did he know in the last moment, but he was scared of criticizing the court ruling? Did he believe that the legal ban was better than dismissal by administrative order? Did the Brotherhood pose a new obstacle to him? Is Obama’s catastrophe attached to the hopes of an armed terrorist group?

There is certainly global interest in the decision to ban the Muslim Brotherhood. The secret behind this interest stems from the organization’s global penetration. The Guardian said that it might be more than a case of fragmentation. Personally, I don’t believe it. It is this newspaper that spoke about the millions of terrorists or smugglers — a newspaper, like other “international” newspapers, that the Muslim Brotherhood has penetrated. They have also penetrated great satellite networks: Arab and American channels, even CNN, practice deception and disseminate falsehoods!

What Obama said in front of the world is enough. We truly appreciate he feelings. We really appreciate his shock. He should have apologized. When he came to Cairo University, he chose who heard him. He requested that they sit in the first row. From that day, they have had inflated egos. They were prepared for the day Morsi took office. Morsi knew that he was the next president. When an announcer asked him: “What will you do if you don’t succeed?” he said, “Impossible.” The announcer quickly replied, “Let’s presume that you don’t succeed,” and Morsi said, “We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.”

The “deposed” didn’t imagine that the group would be immune from judgment; just that America supported them. When he fell, he repeated to himself: “America will not leave you.” No offense to you and America, but it’s now selling you all out for cheap. It’s pulling you into the siphon. Obama cannot come to Egypt. We don’t want to see his face, and the Brotherhood doesn’t want to see his appearance. He might be put on an assassin’s hit list. Perhaps he will be the first one to be seared by the fire of terrorists!

The ban is better than dismissal. The court ruling is a thousand times better than an administrative order. Our injustice comes in the form of the Biblawy government, because it delayed deciding on a solution to this crisis. Our injustice is President Mansour, because he did not issue a decree solving this crisis. He didn’t give them a chance to deal with the issue. Now we have the historical rule by prohibition. Now their presence is nonexistent. If they have returned to their secret work, then we have returned to them!

* Translator’s Note: “Sack of guava” is a colorful Egyptian insult meaning lazy, lame, unmanly or void of personality.

** Translator’s Note: The “guide” is a reference to the Muslim Brotherhood’s supreme guide Mohammed Badie.
