Europe and the USA Are Responsible for the Tragedy of the Immigrants

The Middle East, coastal North Africa and the Arab nations in general are paying a heavy price for the silly invasive folly of the Western world. Unfortunately, only a few of the political analysts in Europe and the USA dared or dare to put the blame for this endless bloodbath, including the unprecedented flow of escaping refugees and fugitives from the fiery hell through the liquid grave of the Mediterranean, on the revival of the "crusades" in the 21st century.
During the medieval crusades (1100-1300), the peddlers of Christ, with the pretext of embedding a Christian status quo in the Muslim countries, turned the main symbol of faith, the cross, into a scarecrow of prosecution and a lethal weapon against the Islamists.
In the 21st century, [because of] the expansion and dissolution of the aforementioned countries [under the] pretext of "democratization," the north and east coasts of the Mediterranean are at risk of becoming one vast graveyard. The fatal and irresolute leaders of Europe and the USA, while they know that the ones primarily responsible for these hecatombs of innocent civilians are none other than George Bush Sr. and Tony Blair, distract themselves in the comfort of their carelessness.
They don't seem to recognize that, soon after Lampedusa, the caravans of fugitives and refugees will flood Mytilene, Kos and all of our eastern coastline and, why not, even Lake Como or the highlands of the Alps (Cisalpine Gaul and Transalpine Gaul) through not only the coast of southern Europe or the underwater tunnel of the Channel but also through the most unlikely and inaccessible passages of Europe.
Why not include the remaining central and northern Europe …?
All these bodies of middle-aged, young and elderly Muslims along with all these beautiful brunette children of agony will, inevitably, become one with our unwrinkled and freshly washed silhouettes of the neo-Crusaders like Tolstoy's master and slave in the blizzard of the steppe.
Yet this whole scenario of the cataclysmic displacement of millions of inhabitants from the eastern Mediterranean and northern and sub-Saharan Africa toward the European interior could have easily been avoided since 1990.
No Syrian, Libyan, Iraqi or Afghan would have left in disappointment if they had been left in peace by the professors of Western "democratization." With the exception of the Afghans, who — unfortunately — were victims of Soviet militarism, the Syrians, the Libyans and the Iraqis lived for decades with their own high standard of living without ever bothering anyone. They had their own religion and customs, their sentimental music and celebrations, and their welcoming smiles and rich cultural deposits.
What was the reason for Britain and the USA to rouse and lead them to kill each other, and why not also France, with frivolous Sarkozy together with the inexplicable Hilary Clinton? Indeed, the last "great lady" was recorded on TV giving a thumbs down, with a laughter of satisfaction when the horrible scenes of the torture and murder of Muammar Gaddafi were broadcasted in the White House (Oct. 21, 2011).
What is then the difference between the Agrippina of the Roman Colosseum from the then great lady of the White House? They both celebrated killings with an inverted thumb. Well done to them both ....
It is a fact that the interbank globalization (lexical forgery of the meaning of internationalism) has taken pre-1990 Europe astray in directions that probably shame the days of Charles de Gaulle, Adenauer, Willy Brandt, François Mitterrand, Georges Pompidou, Paul-Henri Spaak, Olof Palme, Mario Soares, Helmut Kohl and Helmut Smith of Enrico Berlinguer, Jacques Delors, Aldo Moro, Bettino Craxi, Andreas Papandreou, Konstantinos Karamanlis and others.
Only through a political renaissance will the historical continent return to its lost splendor. And only then will the fugitives and refugees return back to their homes. But for a similar sweeping reform, experimenting on others' backs will just not do, nor will the inland pseudo-revolutionary bilingualisms or the graphic experiments of the Podemos.
Overall responsibility and, above all, seriousness are what is required.
