Let Trump Speak

Those who, in the name of democracy, want to stop others from speaking don’t understand what democracy means. Freedom of speech is not there to protect opinions shared by the majority but to ensure that even views seen as politically incorrect can be voiced.
Even controversial people who are seen as undemocratic need to be allowed to speak. This does not mean that you have to listen. There is, however, a large difference between not listening and actively trying to sabotage. Such methods are likely to strengthen populist powers, something we have also experienced at home.
