Trump’s Remarks Undermine the White House and NATO … Washington Failed in Syria and the World

The controversial remarks made by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, which are the first of their kind from an American presidential candidate, raise many questions and expose many secrets and truths for world and American public opinion.
They show the reality of the wickedness of American foreign policy and its ties with projects bent on the destruction of international security for the service of savage American political aims. These remarks have provoked disapproval from the current White House administration and the Republican Party as well as from the classes of the rich and powerful in America who are intent on hiding the truth from the rest of the population.
The remarkable thing about Trump’s statements is not that he is accusing the president of the U.S., Barack Obama, and his former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, with the establishment of the Islamic State. In addition, Trump confirmed that elements of the Islamic State organization respect Obama and that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi appreciates him a lot.
After Trump’s exposure of the truth condemning Clinton, the Democratic candidate judged her rival, Donald Trump, as not having the required characteristics to be president and commander in chief of the United States.
The truths and secrets which Trump is exposing are provoking fear and anxiety for the allies of America. The former secretary general to NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, for example, expressed his anxiety about Trump’s remarks. Trump is undermining trust in the United States, he stated, adding that the global order which the United States leads as a great power will finish in the event of Trump’s election as president of America.
Rasmussen added that Trump’s remarks conflicted with article five of the North Atlantic Treaty concerning defensive cooperation, which states that an attack on any member state in the organization is an attack on all the member states.

Similar circumstances are recurring in Syria, Iraq and Libya today through the direct support of America for terrorist groups and the organizations supporting them.

For the first time, according to experts, the prestige of the United States as the only great superpower in the world was undermined. Obama announced in his election campaign that he would work for the sake of achieving the American dream and to maintain the role of the United States as leader of the world.
However, it became obvious after the end of his first term that most of the slogans he threw around during the election campaign were nothing more than that: slogans which would not be achieved. Seventeen days after taking power, he had sent 17,000 soldiers to Afghanistan, and at the end of 2009, he sent 30,000 more. Two years after that, the American army participated in NATO military operations in Libya. In other words, Obama didn’t fulfill his promise to be a “peaceful president.”
Experts say that Obama was able to win his second presidential term in 2012 for the lack of a powerful Republican candidates to rival him, but his popularity decreased as a result of his failure to fulfill his election promises. Other reasons for the decrease in his popularity include the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi and the killing of the American ambassador there, the use of chemical weapons in Syria by the Islamic State group, his intervention in the internal affairs of Syria, the listening in on people’s phone conversations and, among other things, the scandals exposed by Edward Snowden.
As for the big failure for Obama, it was in the field of foreign policy. For despite attempts in the last year of his presidency to improve relations with Cuba, his official visit to Japan without apologizing for the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and his attempts to play the role of “a man of peace” with Iran, relations between the United States and China have worsened, sanctions have been imposed on Russia, and the United States’ contribution to the intense activities in Ukraine has been unable to achieve a settlement to the conflict there.
