Russia Wakes Up the World*

*Editor’s Note: On March 4, Russia enacted a law that criminalizes public opposition to, or independent news reporting about, the war in Ukraine. The law makes it a crime to call the war a “war” rather than a “special military operation” on social media or in a news article or broadcast. The law is understood to penalize any language that “discredits” Russia’s use of its military in Ukraine, calls for sanctions or protests Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It punishes anyone found to spread “false information” about the invasion with up to 15 years in prison.

The main goal of the special military operation isn’t Ukraine. And it isn’t even about drawing a new line of peace with the West. We ourselves are its main goal. The only point of the new world order is to counter Western ideas with something — with different values, ideals and meanings.

At the core of the current crisis lies the renewal of the world, the renewal of humanity, since without renewal both humanity and the world itself are doomed. A quick agony and ruin await us. This was clearly demonstrated by the events of 2020 and 2021. Let’s recall the most significant of those and explore the tendencies behind them.

First was the proliferation of Black racism and the “Black revolution” of the Black Lives Matter movement, which, above all, manifested itself in the riots that swept through American cities. These riots were fully backed by the establishment and the liberal press. Moreover, empowered by the riots (the main goal of which, first and foremost, was to depose the undesirable president, Donald Trump), the war on white history and culture gained strength. This war is a trend that dates back to the 1960s, actively fostered since then. The riots of 2020 became a clear display of what awaits Europe and white civilization as a whole. It was also a warning to the European elite: That’s what is in store for them if they allow conservatives to come to power and the “Trump effect” to happen in their countries.

The LGBT movement is also a powerful supporting structure of the liberal civilization project. For the most part, this is an even stronger weapon in demolishing traditional civilization today than Black racism. The state of controlled gender chaos erases the identity of white children from a very early age. The liberal civilization project actors, being quite smart, clearly understand: If your weapon is aimed at children, you can rest assured that in 20 years global power will fall right into your hands.

From the neo-Marxist point of view (another very important system tool of the liberal civilization project), Black racism and the LGBT movement together are the new sub-proletariat layer of society that, replacing the traditional proletariat, is destined to become the revolutionary vanguard that will demolish conservative civilization. “People of color, LGBT and the minorities of the world, unite!” — that is the renewed political slogan of today’s neo-Marxism. Mass immigration and multiculturalism, reigning supreme in the Western space (or, at this point, post-Western space) and turning the capitals of the former Western states into a Middle Eastern, or rather, African Babylon, are a clear embodiment of this project.

The next tendency of our time is the transition of the usual liberal democracy to the less usual reality of totalitarian democracy and liberal dictatorship. The latter was clearly on display during the four-year-long hounding of Trump, ultimately followed by his overthrow. All liberal financial, social and political institutions (the establishment, the oligarchy, the democratic media, the lobbyists and the other elements of the deep state) took part in it, demonstrating that they are, at their core, a united global power, a coherent totalitarian mechanism of influence.

Finally, we have the pandemic, which helped us understand the vision of the future, prepared for us by the liberal project. It also showed us the moral justification of such a future from Klaus Schwab’s book, “The Great Reset,” which has become the new “Communist Manifesto.” The future, as per the new liberal Marxists, pictures a world in which the entire population is trapped in the corrals of never-ending lockdowns, practically under house arrest and the total control of artificial intelligence.

The ideology of transhumanism rounds out our list, embodying the “bright future” of globalism into which the brave new people, mentioned above, lead us. Transhumanism sees the future as something defined by total human selection and the transformation of a human being into a hybrid of protein and technology. The transhumanistic world is ruled by a group of overlords, their intellects boosted by technology and their lives prolonged almost indefinitely; under them are crowds of slaves, brought together under the united power of AI and connected to the unified network of virtual reality.

I think that’s enough to understand how and where the liberal civilization project leads us. We now understand the foundations upon which we need to build our world to escape such a future. We need to oppose the anti-Christian civilization project with a traditionally Christian one, with the idea of tradition. By supporting the special military operation, the Russian people showed that they are ready to take this mission on — the mission of the world’s renewal.

Russia has risen up to defend tradition. It remembers itself as a traditionally great warrior empire, as the world of Rurik, Sviatoslav I, Vladimir the Great, Evpaty Kolovrat, Alexander Nevsky, Ivan III and Peter the Great.

But saving the world and creating a new civilization are not one-day matters. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Our struggle against the global liberal project of the post-Western world will not be limited to a single special military operation. The current chapter is only the beginning of a long story.

Current Russia is like Constantine the Great, who, after disembarking at Bosporus, near the poor town of Byzantium, outlined the borders of a great future city, destined to become the center of the universe for the next 1,000 years. What will our borders today look like? What foundation stones will we lay down to found the Russian Empire of tomorrow? This is what is being decided today.

Of course, it’s a slow process. But renewing humanity and helping others come back to their senses are noble goals. No wait is too long for them.
