Joe Biden Is Not Laying All His Cards on the Table

The American president keeps handing the people and his party new excuses. He does not give the impression he is facing the facts.

As if the Democrats did not have enough concerns about the cognitive capacity of their president, they are now dealing with a crisis of confidence.

Since Joe Biden’s disastrous performance in the televised debate against Donald Trump, everyone in the party who had called out his aging condition for months and were thus accused by the White House of airing dirty laundry and betraying the party has been particularly sensitive. Now it is becoming clear to others, too, that Biden is not facing reality. He is not laying all his cards on the table.

Doesn’t the Commander In Chief Want To Travel Anymore?

Horrendous poll numbers from respectable institutions dismiss Biden as disingenuous. He refuses to undergo a medical examination and release the results. And he keeps offering new excuses to the party and voters for his weak debate performance.

The most revealing excuse is that he stupidly refused to heed his advisers and traveled halfway around the world before the debate. There were 1 1/2 weeks between Biden’s return from Europe and the televised debate. What did his advisers recommend, then? That the commander in chief shouldn’t meet with America’s G7 allies because he had an important appointment 11 days later?

Biden will only heed “the Almighty.” A certain amount of fidgeting is not the only trait that is growing stronger as he ages. Biden’s stubbornness and questionable pride are apparently getting stronger, too.
