The Free Voices in Washington

In the United States, as in other Western countries, forces and organizations can still penetrate the domination of Zionism, challenge their influence and control, and call attention to their refusal, in their aggressive “Israeli” approach, to withdraw their Jewish lobbies from governments.

Could not the ubiquitous Zionist lobbies — who dominate all aspects of the American decision-making process, institutions, research centers, money and media — sever their ties with entities that reject aggressive and racist Zionism? Citizens are going out to the streets of Washington in confirmation of the rejection of “Israeli” and American policies concerning the issues of rights and justice, particularly the Palestinian cause, just as they came out in the millions in U.S. cities on the eve of the strikes on Iraq in 2003 in rejection of the policies of George Bush.

The eruption of American and Arab organizations and entities onto the streets of the U.S. capital coincides with the arrival of the prime minister of the Zionist entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, under the slogan “Occupy AIPAC,” which has the largest concentrations of the “Israeli” lobby in the United States. This is evidence of Americans generally rejecting the policies of the United States that support Zionist aggression, which links American interests with “Israel,” despite the harm done to the U.S., its reputation and, in turn, the burden on the American taxpayer, who finds himself forced to finance the “Israeli” war machine.

There are still free voices that are able to break through the Zionist barriers and walls imposed upon the United States and the American people. We find them frequently on the streets of Washington, in front of the White House and the Zionist Forum (AIPAC), and within slogans and positions that diverge from America’s usual contradictory policies.

These are indicators of the beginning of the American public’s pivot to escape the deception they experienced. Though we have little effort and capabilities, Arabs should help complete the process of transformation by confronting the Zionist lobby in their own home. Then there can be a real possibility of success.
