Russia Fighting U.S., Not Georgia

The war between Russia and Georgia is not a clash between powerful Goliath and small David. The only people who can think this way are those who do not derive their knowledge about the world from the Russian mass media.
Those who are reading, listening and watching know that Russia is fighting with only one enemy. That is, with the USA.
Who are Russian tank drivers trying to ridicule while moving around Georgian villages with impunity in search of watches, lavatory pans and other trophies? Not the Georgians who, according to Russian newspapers, are worthless. Infallible Komsomolskaya Pravda published a couple of funny war anecdotes. Among them, there is one that is supposed to show how much Saakashvilis soldiers are worth: Advertisement. Well sell a big batch of American machine guns from southern Osettia. Almost new. Never used, they were dropped on the ground only once.
We should not pay attention to Georgians. Its the Americans that we want to mock. The Russian public TV is showing Georgian fighting vehicles that have been allegedly captured by Russians during the battles in Cchinwali, but in fact they have been plundered from the barracks devastated by Russian troops throughout Georgia. This mobile artillery is from Poland and this transporter from the Czech Republic, comments the speaker and then concludes triumphantly, And this war wagon is from America.
On the same TV, I also heard that there were blacks in Georgian uniforms found among the dead bodies after the capture of Cchinwali. The corpse of a black man is the most common, yet worn out, element of Russian propaganda. Also, after the massacre in Bieslana, it was said in Moscow that an African-American was found among the dead when the school was being stormed. At that time, mythical black corpses, which quickly turned out to be only an invention of Russian propaganda, served as irrefutable evidence of Georgian connections with international Islamic terrorism.
Now, the corpses of black men in Georgian uniforms have two purposes; they serve as evidence that the USA was involved in the events in Caucasus and also as a reminder of the old Soviet truth that black men in America who, if not beaten, are used as cannon-fodder.
It is clear by now that the Russo--Georgian war has been invented, planned and prepared by not so nimble-minded politicians in Washington. And, now after the Russians have beaten them, they are upset.
Angry George Bush is calling Mikheil Saakashvili," reads another funny anecdote about the war published by Komsomolka. Bush screams, "Mike, why did we start all that mess?! It turns out there is no oil in Osettia!" "I swear, George, there was oil!," bluffs the Georgian President.
The Kremlin propagandists are persistently pointing out the American involvement in Caucasus to their fellow country men. "It was Washington that gave Saakashvili permission to destroy the nation in southern Osettia and to attack our soldiers in peacekeeping forces," says nationalist and political expert, Aleksandr Dugin.
Gleb Pavlovski, who is considered the key person standing behind this propaganda, has revealed the true scale of the war waged between Russia and America nowadays: The USA is putting a lot of pressure on the European governments and leaders in the EU. Today Russia is, in fact, fighting with America over Europe.
Political experts warn that the war will last a very long time. Americans will arm their allies in Caucasus and it will all start again. There will be more reasons for making funny jokes about cowardly Georgians and stupid Americans.
Komsomolka has already started a war with a new anecdote: Americans have equipped new battleships, which will be handed over to the Georgian navy, with glass bottoms. While awaiting the new war, marines could offer cruises for tourists and show them their old vessels.
Mocking midgets like Georgia or Poland (which the media called Americas little allies) provides proof that decision makers in Moscow are in a good mood. They are trying to persuade their subjects that Russia, after years of humiliation, finally got back on its feet and is ready to confront the most powerful country in the world. The fact that it is going to trample on its neighbors at the same time should not be seen as a horrible thing. They deserve it.
