The Iraqi News Agency and the al-Dar newspaper salute the brave Iraqi journalist Muntathar al Zaidi and salute the channel where he works, for his brave attitude that made Iraqi journalists proud.
It was now clear to Bush that the Iraqi people value him as a shoe despite the fact that our colleague threw two shoes at him, not one.
Long live Iraq
Let all the cowards and traitors be forewarned….
Media source and eyewitnesses confirmed that one of the Iraqi journalists threw his shoes at the U.S. President and called him a "dog" after the event of signing the security agreement with Prime Minister Nouri al Maliki in his headquarters.
The al Baghdadia channel journalist, Muntathar al Zaidi, requested to ask the U.S. President a question, and when Bush looked at him, he threw his shoes shouting, "[T]his is the goodbye kiss from Iraqi people, you dog."
Security men in the hall arrested al Zaidi, who was then transferred to an undisclosed place. The al Zaidi act occurred after Bush and al Maliki signed the agreement.
The Iraqi media manager was seen hitting the brave journalist Muntathar al Zaidi. Some journalists said that the first shoe went above Bush’s head, while the other one passed beside him without hitting him.
