Hojjat Al-Eslam Agha-Tehrani, a parliamentarian representing the people of Tehran, declared "Deciding on whom to give our vote is not difficult. We need to make sure it is someone who will make the arrogant world spearheaded by the U.S. unhappy."

As reported by the Borna news agency in Qom, Hojjat Al-Eslam Agha-Tehrani spoke at the Grand Assembly of the Servants of the Martyrs in Qom yesterday, saying that “In the beginning, our duty was clear; it was to fight and to give our lives. But today, when our enemy's approach has become cultural, our work has become more difficult because the devil is more visible."

“Our duty in the cultural arena is the renewal of Islam and the upholding of religion and our efforts must be steered to this end and we must listen to what the Supreme Leader expects of us," he said.

This teacher of theology, referring to the front-runner in the election, declared "Vote for someone whose intention will be to restore the concept of the guardianship of the Islamic jurists, the glory of Islam and faith and to help the people."

He continued, "Deciding on whom to give our vote is not difficult. We need to make sure it is someone who will make the arrogant world spearheaded by the U.S. unhappy."
