Time for U.S. to Drive Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations
After the recent impasse in peace negotiations caused by Netanyahu’s continued settlement expansion, U.S. National Security Advisor James Jones visited the Palestinian territories and met with the president and prime minister of Israel. This demonstrates that Washington is still dedicated to the work needed to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and, especially after Jones' confirmation, that President Obama is dedicated to the partition of the two countries.
