European Success in Libya Is a Blow to the Americans

We do not want to rehash these events because what happened in Baghdad and in all of Iraq are still bloody wounds. However, we hope that some of those concerned comprehend the lessons and got past the disasters. Nevertheless, the events of Egypt are yet another step in the decline in the Arab Spring. Its progress was outweighed by the cost of the great loss of life, the destruction of infrastructure and the squandering of money.

This brought the Arabs from the spring to the desert’s hottest summer, but this was not hotter than the flames of what was happening to the sons of Mesopotamia during the war in Iraq. The blaze of dispossession, treacherous power and American domination was used to impose a conspiracy, which shook the Arab thrones of the day. These leaders became obsolete after their people renounced them and placed themselves on the side of this Western juggernaut. America acted as if everything was theirs, and would always be; they forget that the days will pass and the veil will be lifted, and the stench of the scandals that that they piled up in their violence will waft out and make them sick.

We have witnessed this in the context of weapons, electricity and communications contracts and in every contract that has been made for the reconstruction of Iraq and other places. It is what we learned from the continued cheating of the Arab countries and republics, which has left the Arab youth deploring the continuation of tyranny.

Is there any difference between the promises of the Americans and the Europeans? Their officials and monopolizing companies smell the scent of Libyan and Algerian oil, and gas from Egypt to the Mediterranean. The work of these companies is sacred and American companies haven’t had any good news. I personally do not think their work is inviolate (if I can go so far as to say so!). If these companies fail, it will be a major blow to American strategy.

Many people gave America invaluable advice freely, and if they had been lucky enough to listen, everything in the Middle East would have been changed, but opportunity comes only once. It seems that the decision was in Bush's hands, and Paul Bremer can reveal the secrets about it, though many of the security companies that work with various intelligence agencies did not understand this secret war in Libya. However, Europe succeeded in achieving what America failed to achieve in Libya.
