Jordan is stepping confidently as the central strength in the vicinity of the Arab Summer. The American decision maker’s messages have arrived and they were seized, commended and praised because he knows that the Hashemites historically do not only make nations, but also freedom.

More than four thousand demonstrated and sat-in, shouting and demanding the reforms which were advocated for by his Majesty King Abdullah II more than six years ago, but the private interests, the lobbyists and central powers were revolted against by the King during the Jordan Spring.

Confident steps towards Jordan’s strong determination and enthusiasm have been present in the silent majority of Jordanians. Their political leaders in past ordeals, when confronted with conspiracies, have been patient, reasonable and confident in the rest of their leaders who have not let them down historically.

The Jordanian-American summit in Washington was not able to lobby the Zionist from its interest. So, His Majesty returned the ball to the court of international legitimacy to restore Palestine to its rightful owners in order to establish the country as an independent state. The King dwelt on speaking about the reform that he wants, and that the Jordanians are in favor of strengthening their national buildings at all levels.

The King’s signals from Washington have been frequent and clear both externally — specifically the situation in Syria — or internally, in terms of the reform process in the coming days.

Because of what he is asking from the Jordanians regarding their future, the King’s statements, whether for the American media, or to meet members of the Jordanian community in Washington for parliamentary and municipal elections, have opened the door for renewed speculation in this context.

King Abdullah said that as the parliamentary and municipal elections near, some people are inquiring as to how he can dissolve the House of Representatives and call for parliamentary elections later this year. According to the King in previous local events, the electoral law did not enter the House of Representatives.

Although Prime Minister Awn Al-Khasawneh confirmed in meetings with sectors of Jordanian society during the past few weeks that things are going well in this regard, it is safe to assume that his country, after his return from Washington, will push the law to Parliament for discussion and approval.

The blessings received from the international reforms in Jordan are during the time that leaders of Arab countries are taking hostile attitudes toward Jordan. These leaders are emphasizing that Jordan is facing corruption and corrupt legislation, which could ultimately lead to strengthening the work of regulatory agencies, and particularly the House of Representatives, which is the main source of power.

In the coming months, Jordan is on the verge of positive political and economic order, and it looks forward to its sons reaching the level of responsibility to seize the opportunity for change that is desired by everyone at the various political and social spectra.

The past few months have sifted the opportunists from the nationalists, and the country is currently getting rid of the impurities, which have prevented the distortion of clarity for the people marching in Dhiban, and the others who chanted against the government but warned of the prejudice of the political system.
