The Next Egyptian President … Made in America
Really, we have to wonder these days as we watch the critical political developments our country is going through, and our only option is to say "God keep you safe, Egypt..."
When I see Omar Suleiman, a pillar of the former regime, re-appearing once again, and when I see criticism of the Muslim Brotherhood and their party for deciding to nominate Khairat el-Shater or Mohammed Mursi, I re-consider another revolution, one that no one will demolish.
Fear for my country and fear about its next president used to creep in, but this fear has become reality. When this happened I began to read and examine our history, and the history of the closest of our the allies, who has total dominion over us -- that is, America.
Don’t wonder, in a world full of marvels, when I say to you that the decision about the next president of Egypt might actually be made in Langley, Virginia -- yes, where the CIA hide. Don’t be amazed; you’ll learn what I mean by the end of this article.
Our revolution (which wasn’t just "God’s will") began to conclude and achieve its goals. At that time the American strategy was to support Mubarak and his regime, and then little by little it began to deviate from this support. It began to demand that the regime transfer authority peacefully, or institute a peaceful government transition, or hand over authority peacefully. Here, I began to say to myself: “When did America start liking things so peaceful? A war like in Libya or Syria would be in America’s interest because it would seize the opportunity of dividing Egypt, and American would remain ever more dominant.” Here, I realised that it was not in America’s interest for authority in Egypt to change radically, in the true sense of "a revolutionary change."
The American administration is not worried by the regime in Egypt so much as the transition from one regime to another occurring peacefully, and not in a revolutionary manner. This is in order to remain in control, because a peaceful transition would allow the American administration to re-arrange the playing cards so as to maintain American interests in Egypt and the Middle East generally.
A revolutionary transition is usually outside the realm of control; the revolution seems just like boiling water, and it is impossible to control the effervescent movement that usually causes the bottom to stir up and rise to the top, and the top to sink to the bottom.
This is where the malicious change of the American administration occurred, from a position of supporting Mubarak to an unannounced support of the Muslim Brotherhood. The American intelligence agency is proficient at this industry; that is, the industry of political leaders -- employing them and then exploiting them in order to achieve their own private interests. They put into place an appropriate plan for getting rid of a leader when they begin to lose control and when the furthering of American interests, which made them support him in the first place, comes to an end. This is what happened previously, when they manufactured Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda to strike at and halt Russian expansion in Afghanistan, even if in achieving this goal, the magic overthrows the magician. Then what happened, happened: They attacked and demolished him.
Now, America wants to manufacture leadership for us under the Muslim Brotherhood, which is now prepared to pounce on authority in Egypt. By this means, America is making use of the Brotherhood as a Sunni authority to strike at Shia Iran, after it was impossible for America to strike through the proxy of Saddam Hussein and his war with Iran, which lasted close to 10 years.
And so, the American administration is currently concerned with striking at Iranian military power, and therefore the Shia state of Iran. If America wants to strike Iran in their own house, let it come out of the heart of the Islamic world via a Sunni state; the U.S. is, in this way, exploiting the historical conflict between the Sunni and Shia sects in order to achieve its own interests and Israel’s, in extinguishing the remaining embers of the Palestinian state. This is why, in my point of view, the Brotherhood raised their own presidential candidate.
