Chemical and Nuclear Premeditation
From watching catastrophic developments in Syria, one must be shocked by the chemical and nuclear slanders and lies that Western countries and their tools in the region are exercising against Syria. Their immediate goal is to provide a different reality for what is happening on the ground, in order to abuse the state and people of Syria and to impact the general opinion of those who had been supportive of Syria’s position. Perhaps it more raises revulsion and shock against these new lies. The campaign of falsehoods against Syria is led by Washington and its ally Israel, concerning the use of what it calls “chemical weapons” by the Arab Syrian army in its war against the terrorists, evoking the Iraqi spectacle which has not left the collective memory.
Zionist and American officials have competed in recent days in launching empty allegations about the use of chemical weapons in Syria, ignoring the calls of the Syrian government that these weapons were used by armed terrorist groups in Khan al-Assal in Aleppo. This is an attempt to rescue the armed opposition from their troubles and give it a moral defense ahead of the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American President Barack Obama; it is also an attempt to expose the pressure on Russia’s position supporting Syria and opposing any foreign intervention in Syria’s internal affairs, in order to impose the American agenda and vision in any forthcoming solution.
The armed Wahhabi gangs that wreak destruction, death and devastation in many areas of Syria on the orders of Americans, Zionists and Gulf Arabs today receive their inevitable fate at the hands of our valiant Syrian Arab Army, which hits the terrorists in order to purge our cities of their filth with the cooperation of the honorable sons of our country. This is what the reasoning of the international conspiracy against Syria has loosed upon our country. Their challenges have fallen together as Syria fell under their plots, but now they put forth filthy papers alleging our use of chemical weapons in order not to submit to defeat.
But ironically, the shame in this new campaign against Syria is that its masters are among the owners of the world’s nuclear, chemical and bacterial weapons arsenals — and they have used them in their wars against others. Immorality is heaped upon immorality, and arrogance heaped upon arrogance.
The world remembers how Washington used weapons for the comprehensive destruction of Iraq as its alleged pretext for invasion. As it was seen after the occupation and destruction of the country and the killing of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, that pretext was a lie; the goals of the invasion were actually only the looting and plundering the wealth of Iraqi civilization, its oil and the destruction of its scientific skill and its social, economic, military and human infrastructure.
