An official representative of the U.S. State Department, Jen Psaki, has yet again “shone” her knowledge while commenting on Ukrainian refugees coming to the Rostov Oblast.

“There are no Ukrainian refugees in Russia,” announced Psaki. “Everything is calm and under our control.”

Then, journalist Matthew Lee, who constantly debates with the red-haired American, inquired about the identity of the women and children arriving in large quantities to that region of Russia.

“Those are tourists. In the Rostov Mountains, there is wonderfully healing air,” the representative of the U.S. State Department answered unthinkingly. Where exactly in the Rostov Oblast Psaki found mountain resorts remains a mystery.

The Rostov Oblast is located in the southern part of the Eastern European plains and partly in the North Caucasus Region. It occupies the vast territory of the river basin of the Lower Don. The very character of the surface features of the Oblast’s territory is a plain that is segmented into river valleys. The maximum height above sea level is just 253 meters.
