Obama, the West and the World Community Must Acknowledge that a Terrorist Has No Religion
During the course of an interview, President Barack Obama refused to define the war against terrorism as a war against Islam or as any kind of religious war. He said that one element from among the different Muslim communities of the world has misinterpreted the religion to include a component of violence in its erroneous interpretation of Islam.
Islam is a religion of peace and tranquility, although a few misguided elements of the Muslim community have tried to apply the name of Islam to their own views. The followers of Islam have rejected this. This is why these undesirable elements are accursed and detested throughout the world today. These are the elements that President Obama was referring to, and Obama's analysis is absolutely correct.
The followers of Islam hold the grievance that the West has associated terrorism with Islam. When President Obama's predecessor, President Bush, made the decision to invade Afghanistan, he proclaimed this to be a crusade; this was, naturally, hurtful for Muslims. Non-Muslims, also, have been found to be involved in terrorism, but their terrorism is not linked to their religion. The discriminatory attitude of the Western media against Muslims is beyond any doubt.
The hostility of Hindus and Jews against the followers of Islam is no hidden matter. If the Christian community, too, is influenced by the Western media to view the followers of Islam as perpetrators of terrorism, it will lead to the construction of walls of hatred between civilizations, the walls rising ever higher as each and every act of terrorism is placed at the door of Muslims. A consequence of this will also be severe damage to world peace. Obama, the West, and the Western media need to demolish these walls of hatred through their actions.

Islamophobia in America is all too evident in the story of the three Muslim students murdered in North Carolina a few days ago. The killer, Craig Stephen Hicks, is a militant atheist. The news media -amazingly after the Brian Williams CREDIBILITY scandal- made it look like a back page kook killing- all over parking lot space. Now if three Hassidic Jews had been gunned down by a ” gun toting atheist “, you can be sure our news media would have featured it as a horrendous hate crime.
This Stephen Craig Hicks is an extremely suspicious character. A 46 year old unemployed law student ? His very name is suspicions. It is weirdly similar to an author-professor who is a fanatical disciple of the militant atheist, crackpot pro-capitalist Ayn Rand.
The killer was inspired by the likes of the professional Islamophobe, Christopher Hitchens.
There is barely any public information on Craig Stephen Hicks. I am beginning to suspect that he was an FBI operative gone mad, involved in some evil Cointelpro type program against Muslim Americans. The lack of curiosity the U.S. news media shows, the lack of visible empathy, point to a Watergate scale cover-up.
The killer’s wife said he believed everybody was equal. I guess that makes him a PROGRESSIVE SOCIALIST. You can’t trust them, can you ?
