Meanwhile, in the U.S., two courts - one in Boston and one in North Carolina - are getting closer to passing verdicts and determining punishments in two cases. In Boston, a Chechen youth is being tried for the tragically infamous terrorist bombing during the Boston Marathon in 2013. The death sentence is possible. In North Carolina, Craig Hicks could also receive the death penalty for the murder of three Muslims. The Tsarnaev brothers wanted to punish America for its policies. Hicks wanted to punish those who, in his opinion, were guilty of something. They will end the same way.
Amnesty is a political decision to remove the need for punishment. It's not justice. Justice is happening in the two U.S. cases mentioned above.
