What Is the Donald Trump Phenomenon All About?
Lately, a big, long, drawn-out “Wooow!” has echoed throughout the global press and blogosphere.
The pre-election ratings of one of the Republican candidates for U.S. presidency, the well-known billionaire and showman Donald Trump, have soared so suddenly and so high that practically all the remaining Republican candidates have lost any hope of further participation in the primaries.
In just a month, Trump has managed not only to become the undisputed leader among the Republican candidates, but to tear the hell out of the established belief in an uncontested election by Hillary Clinton.
No matter how hard the liberal propagandists tried, how much mud they slung, or what labels they hung on him, it was all in vain.
Trump is a racist. Trump is a jerk. Trump hates women. Trump is a dummy. Trump is just promoting himself. Trump eats people. All of this, in the end, had the opposite effect. The American voters saw something special, interesting and lively in the flamboyant candidate.
It’s only in Hollywood movies and in the imagination of the “Russian intelligentsia” that the U.S. seems a wonderful, unclouded country, where people live knowing neither problems nor trouble, eat ham for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and rejoice continuously in victorious love and tolerance.
In actuality, the modern U.S. has many problems, just like any other nation: high unemployment, a huge crime rate, race issues, illegal immigration, social inequality, low graduation and health insurance rates, gigantic debt and so on.
Donald Trump isn’t afraid to talk about all these issues, and he doesn’t mince words. While most American politicians are criticizing the scheming tyrant Putin and discussing Ukraine’s democratization, Trump gets right at the truth about what really bothers people.
In my opinion, it’s precisely this aspect of his character that is most responsible for winning over Americans. But qualitative populism isn’t enough. There are other aspects that strongly distinguish him from the rest of the candidates.
Trump is fabulously rich and can afford to not kowtow to the financial corporations and lobbyists who demand the promotion of their own interests in return for investment. He absolutely need not go around with an outstretched hand, groveling. He is independent and capable of paying for his own election campaign.
Another of his major advantages is his success story. Trump is a man of action. He has hundreds of real projects in various spheres to his name: construction, real estate, media, literature, sports and show business. He is the embodiment of the American dream. A fanatical workaholic, he achieved it all with his own labor, energy and ideas. You can blab all you want about such a person, but it’s impossible not to respect him.
I’ve already alluded to the lack of alternatives in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. For several years, Americans were told that after an African-American president, a woman must become the nation’s leader. It became a sort of religious mantra, stitched together by all the media, from hip bloggers to Hollywood.
And, of course, who but Hillary Clinton to be this very woman? Only here there is a “but!” Hillary long ago ceased to be a pitiable first lady or aggrieved woman, and for most Americans, she has turned into — I didn’t make this up, it’s from public opinion polls — a contentious grandmother and fishwife, embezzler and techno-bimbo who sends secret government documents via free email services.
Sixty percent of Americans (in some states, the percentage is significantly higher) are categorically opposed to seeing Clinton as president, and even filming a hundred more TV shows like “The Good Wife” and “House of Cards” will not change their opinions. They’re opposed, and that’s that.
For this very reason, many consider Donald Trump an alternative to the pre-election scenario that has been imposed on American society by the ruling bureaucracy.
Trump is breaking established political trends and creating new ones. Instead of confrontation with Russia, he proposes friendship. Instead of geopolitical terrorism, he wants to focus on domestic problems.
His campaign’s philosophy is the slogan “Make America Great Again.” He understands perfectly that the existing political strategy is outdated and requires not even an overhaul but a radical restructuring.

Americans, as a whole, hate Trump. make no mistake. However, we do appreciate him showing the world who he is…. an evil, wannabe tyrant… his goal (as his fortune is at an all time low) is war and at the cost of every human on this planet. The question is why cant he stop revealing his insane drive for power???
