The Evolution of Presidential Powers
Beyond partisan politics, it is not the executive branch that should be the most powerful, but the legislative branch as the Founding Fathers saw it. Democratic and Republican presidents have helped push back the limits of their own authority since the beginning of the 20th century.
If Trump wins the 2024 election, it could mean the most significant evolution of those powers.
