Trump: Pressure to Broadcast Other Incriminating Videos Is Mounting

The broadcast on Friday of a recording in which Donald Trump makes degrading statements about women seems to have been a turning point in the campaign, and the pressure to make other compromising videos of the Republican candidate public continued to increase on Tuesday.

Rumors are circulating about other unpleasant statements that the real estate mogul made during the 11 seasons as host of the reality TV program “The Apprentice.” But the producer of this program, Mark Burnett, has defended himself saying he can broadcast anything.

“Despite reports to the contrary, Mark Burnett does not have the ability nor the right to release footage or other material from ‘The Apprentice,’” according to a statement released to the press by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which owns the program’s production company.

“Various contractual and legal requirements also restrict MGM’s ability to release such material,” the statement adds without going into detail. This statement occurred as former collaborators who worked on the program suggested that other inappropriate declarations by the billionaire exist, declarations in which he again attacks women in between takes.

“As a producer on seasons 1 & 2 of #theapprentice, I assure you, when it comes to the #trumptapes there are far worse. #justthebegininng,” producer Bill Pruitt assured on Twitter.

One of his colleagues, Chris Nee, alluded to racist remarks from Trump.

According to the Huffington Post, which claims to have obtained the transcript of a recording, Trump criticizes the appearance of a candidate on “The Apprentice.” “Her skin, her skin sucks, okay?” the billionaire says regarding a country singer that is seen during the program. “I mean her skin, she needs some serious fuckin’ dermatology,” Trump says.

Nee and other producers, however, made sure that everyone who worked on the program signed a contract, imposing a penalty of $5 million on those responsible for leaking content from “The Apprentice.”

A campaign has been launched on the crowd funding site GoFundMe to raise the $5 million that would allow new proof to be broadcast showing that “the current nominee for president of the United States is not a moral leader.” But, up until now, the site has only raised $24,000.
