The law makes it a crime to call the war a “war” rather than a “special military operation” on social media or in a news article or broadcast. The law is understood to penalize any language that “discredits” Russia’s use of its military in Ukraine, calls for sanctions or protests Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It punishes anyone found to spread “false information” about the invasion with up to 15 years in prison.

The Democrats are gearing up and searching for an ideal candidate. Both the candidate search’s success and the election outcome hinge on the inevitable mistakes that Trump and his team will make — especially regarding Ukraine.
If Trump doesn’t achieve quick and tangible results this year, his opponents will have a great chance to stall and slow down all the processes. As a result, this could easily lead to a loss — or an unfavorable outcome — in the 2028 election.
The basic schedule for the next two years has already been set. There’s less and less room to maneuver.
