The Devil America
This is worthy of mention here that America and the Western media have declared the Mumbai attacks and 9/11 to be similar. Now, the world knows the truth behind the 9/11 attacks very well. Many American researchers have reached to the conclusion that this attack was a conspiracy of the American administration to find an excuse for waging an attack on Afghanistan, because there are many uncovered facts of these attacks that were not revealed by the Bush administration. With the speedy restoration of Indio-Pakistani relations in recent times, talks were going to begin among the foreign ministers of both the countries for which the foreign minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmud Qureishi was already in India; and the timing of the Mumbai attacks at such a point indicates toward a planned conspiracy by such elements whose interests would suffer due to proximity between these two countries. Hence, the investigation of Mumbai attacks should consider this aspect as well.
The puzzle of the fake phone call made to the President of Pakistan Asif Zardari by the Indian Foreign Ministry has not yet been solved. Pakistan alleges that the threatening phone call was done by the Indian Home Ministry, a charge that Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherji denyies. The vital question here is that who made this phone call. This is an extremely sensitive issue. This should be investigated as well. Vigilance has to be kept on all the possible tactics that can be employed to spoil the relations between India and Pakistan. When only a fake phone call can raise tensions between the two countries, this fact should not be ignored that the forces that do not want India and Pakistan to come close are capable of wreaking tremendous havoc.
At the insistence of India, the Security Council of the United Nations has banned Jamat-ul-Dawa, other Pakistani organizations and their leaders. Pakistan has indicated that it may also ban these organizations on its own initiative. This statement and the arrests of Lashkar chief Zaki-ur-Rahman Lakhwi and Jaish-e-Muhammad chief Masud Azhar have created created hope that the diplomatic method can be useful in destroying the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. At this juncture, the article on the Mumbai terrorist attacks by Pakistani President Asif Zardari published in the “New York Times” that has attracted the attention of the entire world can not be ignored, in which he has dared to point the finger at America for promoting terrorism. This should not be forgotten as well that Pakistan has sided with America during the Cold War. America misused religion tactfully for facing the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. He stated that the attacks on Mumbai were planned for weakening the democracy in Pakistan. This allegation by Asif Ali Zardari is quite understandable, because since its creation, democracy has never suited Pakistan. Whenever there was an elected government, some American puppet has toppled its existence.
It is worth questioning why America, which has always preferred to pat Pakistan’s back over any dispute between the two countries has suddenly now directed all its sympathies towards India. This is a vital question. It appears as if America wants to win the lost battle in Afghanistan. On one hand, NATO countries are not willing to support America in Afghanistan and on the other hand, it has exploited Pakistan to the maximum possible extent on Afghanistan. Now it doesn’t have much hope from Pakistan on the Afghanistan front, and in its fury, it is taking lives of innocent people in the Pakistani region. In such a situation, it needs Indian help, which is possible only when there is direct confrontation between India and Pakistan. The subcontinent is already sitting on a volcano, and only a spark can destroy the entire region. In such circumstances, India will have to exercise great caution because India and Pakistan have become nuclear powers now and cannot afford to wage any more confrontation. It is reasonable that India should have a tough stance on the issue of terrorism and the genie of terrorism should be trapped inside the bottle through diplomatic efforts, but the double standard that America is employing in the war against terror will only worsen this disease. The elements provoking India to attack Pakistan are not true sympathizers of India. Once India is trapped in this quagmire, it will have to pay a heavy price, much like Pakistan is doing today.
