  1. The story in the Haaretz has missed an impending tragedy waiting to happen in Israel. Its seed was sown by the founding father David Ben Gurion. When asked to affirm faith in (Jewish) God at the ceremony, he rebuffed Rabbis and disdainfully blamed God “for doing too little to deserve this credit.” The Zionists parted ways with the God unmindful of Jewish history. It is a saga full of “and they (Jews) did in the sight of God.” Grabbing the whole of West Bank by trying to flush out the Palestinians and in a bid to follow the colonial apartheid policy, Israel’s war machine terrorised all its neighbours attacking them with tanks and war planes. 9/11’s tragedy, though fully condemned by the Muslim world, figures no where the Zionists holocaust in Palestine. Nobody seems mindful that the Hebrew God is watching. David Ben Gurion put the seal on Israel with his blatant rejection of God to ever become a Jewish state. Jews would never ever recognise a profane state. It is time that the saner elements in Jewish community repent to God and seek forgiveness to ward off the looming threat on the Zionists from the heavens. The possible meltdown of Israel might drag America in the fallout. Right now Jews need peace by making amends with the Hebrew God. Here is a plausible option for America to prevent the threat from the heavens, let it ask the Arabs to agree to a “Safe Haven” for the Jews (minus Zionists) to act as a “de facto” entity for Jews. Jews have lived and prospered consecutively for seven centuries in the Omayyad Spain and five centuries in the Ottoman Empire. There is not a single instance, not even a solitary one, of a revolt from the Jews. It is significant the heavens also spared the Jews from harm for centuries. The Jews otherwise have an apprehension that when things start getting better, something make them going badly. We Muslims owe a great debt to President Obama for reaching out to Islam in earnest. One hopes that this option might become plausible.
