The Fall of the Dictatorial Arab Regimes: Is It a Popular Awakening or a U.S. Plan?

Million-protester-staged demonstrations did occur suddenly in a number of countries in the Arab world, aiming to overthrow the dictator regimes, which placed absolute governors for years, and some of whom have exceeded half a century of injustice and oppression. These regimes therefore deprived the people of their rights and freedom, which are legitimate rights of theirs because Man has been created free on Earth to express his opinion and his freedom of choice. He should not be deprived of this right, but these regimes have been doing so for years, restraining their peoples, which prevented them from exercising their right to freedom. I think that the reason for this all is due to the people themselves, because if they had rejected the regimes from the beginning of their tyranny of power, they would not have been deprived of this right. As the verse by Zoubir goes:

Shall not tyrants leave alone a fierce wolf
As long as they know you are a flock of sheep

This means the tyranny of any ruler is due to the silencing of people against injustice and persecution. Had they marched to demonstrate against this tyranny and overthrown the regimes from the beginning, they would have received their freedom timely, but they stayed silent for their right, and he who stays silent for his right is a dumb devil.

But the puzzling thing about this is how these peoples revolted against their regimes almost at the same time, after they remained silent for such a long time. Is it that the peoples have spontaneously awakened and felt that the time has come to eliminate poverty and miserable hunger, to get out of the `sea of underdevelopment and move forward toward the search for the freedom and democracy which they were deprived of? Or did the revolts occur as a result of an invitation by a number of people, backed by the United States of America and the colonial states greedy for the wealth of the Arab world, calling for these manifestations of aid in their quest in Facebook and SMS messages? The peoples, through this invitation, found the opportunity to break the shackles that they remained bound by all these years. Some people say that this is a plan developed by the United States and carried out by the peoples thirsty for freedom, and who do not know who has developed such a plan, in order to replace the existing heads of states with new ones more obedient and more responsive to their demands — puppet rulers they can control as they wish. Others say that it was just the beginning of a plan drawn by the colonial states, greedy for the fortunes of the Arab world, to re-colonize and to impose of control on them.

When you ask these people why it was not the peoples who spontaneously awakened outside any American or colonial plan, they would respond by asking another question: “Why did these peoples not revolt as soon as their presidents proved to be despotic and monopolize power and the peoples’ wealth for themselves and for their entourage only? Were they afraid of repression and genocide?” This is to be expected from dictatorial regimes because a dictator is willing to order thousands of massacres against the people to maintain his hold on power. Whether the people revolt previously or now, they will be countered with nothing but the repression of live bullets and tear gas, in addition to the use of the fierce riot police, to obstruct the million-protester-staged demonstrations to overthrow him, making use of stones, knives and Molotov grenades to the extent that some dictators hire thugs from Africa and elsewhere to suppress the people demanding their legitimate rights. All this will come under the U.S. plan because we noticed how America intervened in the demonstrations that occurred in Egypt to demand that Hosni Mubarak step down. They stood by the people, against the violence perpetrated by him, and demanded that the Egyptian government respond to the demands of the people. Also, they secretly stood by Mubarak and supplied him the plans to cope with demonstrations — plans defaming him and increasing the fury of the people. This pawn-president had only to respond and implement these plans, thinking that such plans were in his favor. Therefore, the United States, in this case, would have gained the people’s confidence and have gotten rid of the old pawn-president because he has become obsolete and useless, and should get substituted for a new pawn-president to remote-control-manipulate as they wish.

When we come to the United States’ role in the Libyan revolt, we notice that they have stood by the people rather than with the president because the president of Libya did not bow to them and considered them as his bitterest enemy. Therefore, the United States, in conjunction with coalition forces, conducted the Odyssey Dawn campaign, which bombed the sites of Gadhafi forces and incurred those heavy losses. As such, a U.S. aircraft priced between $75 and $76 million crashed. Also, the cost of a B-2 aircraft flight per hour is $10,000, and a single task for this aircraft lasts 25 hours; that is to say, a single plane in a single mission costs the U.S. $250,000, besides other aircrafts’ missions. All this money is not spent out of love for the Libyan people or love for Arabs; rather, there are a lot of oil wells in Libya and the United States has no share in them because of the President of Libya, who deprived his people of those riches (a hungry wolf sacrifices the herd for a slice of meat). So it is high time for the States to get their share. All of this explains to us that America is behind all the revolutions and the demonstrations that are taking place in the Arab world using the peoples in achieving their goal of getting a share of the vast riches of the Arab world...
