Sobhi Saleh announced that the Freedom and Justice Party agrees with the Muslim Brotherhood that the U.S. supported several of Egypt's political parties financially in an attempt to influence the results of the parliamentary elections to be held in Egypt.

Saleh added in a statement to the Iranian Fars news agency Tuesday that the U.S. has undertaken actions to sow dissension between Egypt's various institutions through political and financial aid.

Saleh also points out that almost 80 percent of Egyptians consider the U.S. the mortal enemy of Egypt, alluding to a referendum about this.

He added that the Muslim Brotherhood is determined to win 40 percent of the seats in the upcoming parliamentary election, and he personally expects the Muslim Brotherhood to win half the seats in the next parliamentary election, which is expected to take place in three phases between Nov. 28 and Jan. 10.
