Osama and Obama
It is strange that the CIA, after announcing the assassination of Osama bin Laden, has not shown Osama’s body as they have done with their other hunting trophy, Ernesto Che Guevara.
Bin Laden’s death has made history. Even so, it is nothing new. Although few of us recognize it, history is full of gangsters and terrorists, some whose names and deeds are no longer remembered. The most well-known terrorists are King Herod; Torquemada, the lead Inquisitor during the Spanish Inquisition; Queen Victoria, the biggest drug trafficker of all times, who promoted China’s war; Hitler; President Truman, who launched atomic bombs destroying the civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki; and Stalin.
The danger exists that Osama will go down as myth, and from a mythological figure, to a martyr. His death deserves no more than a note in the inside pages of the newspapers. The United States, however, is a country that thrives on necrophilia, as they feed off the victims from their wars. As a result, Obama has transformed Osama into the poster boy for evil, stirring up the imaginations of all those who, for any reason, hate American imperialism.
A classic example of how the spell turned against the magician can be seen with Saddam Hussein, who was used as a White House puppet in order to work against the Islamic revolution of Iran.

The CIA taught bin Laden how to fabricate explosives and commit terrorist attacks, launder his money in make-believe business and tax havens, operate secret codes, and infiltrate agencies and commandos.
Bin Laden is the product of American services, confirmed Swiss author, Richard Labévière. Since 1990, shortly after the tearing down of the Berlin Wall, bin Laden aimed his terrorist arsenal at Uncle Sam’s heart.
Terrorism is despicable, and although it is practiced mostly by the left, all acts of terror benefit one side only: the extreme right. In life, one reaps what one sows. This applies to all aspects of life, whether personal or social. If the U.S. is finding itself attacked in such a violent form, it is because in some way, the U.S. has abused its power to humiliate different people and ethnic groups. The U.S. has abused its power for decades. Examples of this are the occupation of Puerto Rico; the Guantánamo Naval Base, located in Cuba; the wars against Iraq and Afghanistan, and now, Libya; participation in the Central European wars; and ignoring the conflicts between Arab and African dictatorships.
It is too late for the U.S. to act as a mediator to oversee peace treaties between Arabs and Israelis. The peace talks were postponed due to Uncle Sam’s hegemony over the planet. Suddenly, the violence erupted in such brutal form, proving that the enemy had no ethics. The only difference is that the enemy did not manipulate international forums to legitimize his criminal actions, as the White House did when it manipulated the United Nations to commit their genocides.
Anyone who knows the history of Latin America knows very well that the U.S. has done exactly that over the past 100 years. The U.S. has directly interfered with the sovereignty of our countries and has spread terror over the region. Maurice Bishop was assassinated by Green Berets in Granada; the Sandinistas were taken over by the terrorist group funded by Reagan; since 1961, the the Cubans have been continuously blocked off from having any normal relationship with other countries; and another part of Cuban territory, Guantanamo, continues to be invaded by the Pentagon.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the CIA, under the direction of Henry Kissinger, established dictatorships in Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Guatemala and El Salvador.
The result was ongoing violence, said Helder Camara. Terrorism does nothing but strengthen the right and kill democracy, causing the powerful to be convinced that people are not capable of governing themselves.
Innocent victims cannot continue to be sacrificed in order to satisfy the greed of imperialist governments who play the role of owners of the world, desiring to divide the world for their own use, as if it were slices of a delicious cake. The attacks of September 11, 2001, prove that there is not enough science and technology to protect people or nations. The U.S. wasted trillions of dollars in sophisticated defense methods. It would have been better to invest this fortune on world peace, which will only happen on the day peace is seen as the daughter of justice.
The fall of the Berlin Wall put an end to the East-West conflict. The only thing left now is to tear down the wall of inequality between the North and South. Until all of us are treated equally, neither God nor peace will be with us.
