[A]ll things considered, no one has ever done more than Trump to end U.S. global hegemony, reduce Washington’s influence in the world and undermine the power of the presidency in the United States.

What a sad gathering it is that must tolerate a deranged individual … when they must sit and listen, bowing to protocol or out of fear.

It was a grand illusion, one that had taken root in the minds of the U.S. administration’s decision-makers.
