Somewhere, LifeNews got recorded phone calls of Victoria Nuland and the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.
For me, it’s no surprise that these Yankees are brutes. Back when I lived in the U.S., I interacted with a couple of congressmen and a governor. These men made a loathsome impression on me. In the late ‘70s, I had already formed the general profile of an American politician: a liar, a hypocrite and a pervert — in a word, a brute.
Why is it preferable to have personal experience? You’re not wrong, or very slightly wrong afterwards.
Look, they’re pulling Ukraine out of our sphere of influence and, without disdain, dealing with elements that are most alien to them — Western Nazis. They blew up the statehood of Libya and Syria, while getting support from the most criminal and, in the end, the most hostile elements — Islamist radicals.
Americans are irresponsible, immoral and make a brothel wherever they go. And then they don’t care. They leave, sit on their continent and contently watch as people and countries writhe in the bloody brothel.
Russian liberals are applauding the American-hosted Maidan. But to me, [Russian liberals] are newborn babies, inexperienced fools and overall very frivolous individuals. I’m just surprised at the speed with which these lice infested our nation-state. In 20-odd years, we have a whole class of chatty, slobbering, suit-and-tie-wearing outsiders. Aliens!
As for Americans, I suppose they are incorrigible. Having experienced the hatred of the world on Sept. 11, 2001, they did not choose to change. They merely became more brutal, irresponsible and immoral.
In fact, today to be an American is a crime. Even being a professor at an American university is a crime.
How jauntily and prudently they treat Ukraine. Nuland and the skinny ambassador decide that the bespectacled Yatsenyuk should be in charge and Klitschko should be pushed aside, but not removed. With what remarkable ease they mobilize [John] McCain and Vice President Biden. How they kick aggressive screw-up Europeans under the table.
Imagine if Russia pulled the same stunt in Mexico as [the U.S.] is pulling in the Ukraine! [The U.S.] would have exploded from indignation — and the U.S. military would have already taken Mexico City.
Whereas our countrymen, Ivans and Vladimirs, [translator’s note: similar to the English expression “Tom, Dick, and Harry”] are just good-naturedly scratching.
We’re talking about the land where Gogol was born, the birthplace of philosophers Skovoroda and Tatlin, where our Bat’ko (“Father”) Makhno was born, as well as the historical Lev Bronshtein. The land where Pannochka flew in a coffin and Zaporizhzhya Sich raged. [Translator’s note: these are references to Gogol’s works, Viy and Taras Bulba, respectively.] We are talking about the land of our dreams, our pain and joy, Crimea and Odessa, about the steppes near Kherson, where Zheleznyak was killed, our myths and legends, gentlemen statesmen!
Vulgar Yankees in plaid pants, the likes of Nuland, Biden and McCain … and Russia is letting them intrude upon the sacred land of our ancestors?! Into our national dreams, our collective memory abyss?
What have we come to!
This was an indignant sermon about the Yankees.
