The Resistance Economy Is the Negotiations Economy's Alternative

Habibi in the meeting of the coalition’s secretaries: Threatening negotiations means greater distrust. The enemy should know that the resistance economy is the negotiation economy’s alternative and neither the government nor the people have any hope for the outcome of negotiations.

According to Fars News Agency’s parties division, Mohammad Nabi Habibi, secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party, at the end of a meeting of this party’s secretaries and in reference to the communique regarding resistance economy policies from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, declared that “one of the messages the nation and government can send to the U.S. government is that we are not happy about the negotiations and will go about our own business domestically.”

Habibi continued by saying that the enemy should know that the resistance economy is the negotiation economy’s alternative, and neither the government nor the people have any hope for the outcome of negotiations. The events of Ukraine have shown that if Americans get the opportunity, they will even pick the pockets of their neighbors in the G5+1, recklessly attack the independence of a European country and raise the flag of the euro as a sign of the West’s hegemony in Kiev’s Independence Square.

He remarked that during the last six months and all throughout the government’s negotiations with the G5+1, the Americans threatened a military attack more than 10 times. He then announced that the Americans, having interfered in Iran’s internal affairs in various ways, defend the leaders of discord and even raised discussion of the election being flawed.

The secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party clarified that “the nation should be aware that negotiations accompanied by a military threat and intervention in Iran’s internal affairs spark distrust and pessimism about the result of negotiations. Therefore, we should tighten our belts and be steadfast in the face of the G5+1, especially the villainies of the United States.”

Habibi added: “We should thank the armed forces, which in response to the military threats unveiled Iran’s new ballistic missiles with up-to-date technologies, so that the enemy knows the brave children of the nation will answer a threat with a threat and will answer interference with the unparalleled Feb. 11 demonstration.”*

Referring to the developments in Ukraine, he pointed out that the soft battle of the “orange revolutionaries” in Ukraine, which turned into a heavy battle 10 days ago, has now become a military crisis. The result of foreign interference is that the country is on the brink of a ruinous civil war.

The secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party, in reference to the problems facing the Islamic world, said that “the events of Myanmar showed that the enemies of Islam are busy provoking rifts so Muslims get killed. They have armed the takfiris to launch the foundation for inter-religious war in the Islamic world, and all of these events tell of one truth. In order to keep Zionism alive, the Americans need to keep the Islamic world preoccupied. If this preoccupation comes to an end, it will come into conflict with other religions.”

Habibi emphasized that “as soon as possible, the government should find a way to prevent the bloodshed in the Central African Republic through the member countries of the Islamic Conference and non-aligned states. The French are enablers in the conflict, and the government in Paris should be disgraced on account of this bloodshed.”

He added: “Now a real Holocaust is underway in Myanmar, the Central African Republic, Syria and Lebanon and is spreading each day. These tragedies, in light of the silence of international bodies, shows that the hands of Western and U.S. encroachment are at work even more than before.”

The secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party also said that “the way to confront this sinister phenomenon is to deepen the Islamic awakening and the solidarity of the world of Islam’s scholars and elites in the region and the world. Based on the guidelines of the Imam and the most dignified leadership of the Islamic Republic, we should not forget not that our main enemy is certainly the United States.”

Habibi made reference to the recent statements of the oil minister in the Tehran Municipal Council. He said that “relief in the matter of Tehran’s traffic and the cities’ problems would be good. But it needs to be seen which law the respectable oil minister is relying on to implement this commitment.”

He continued, saying that “if this commitment was in the budget for the year 1392, which is about to end,** we need to see why this commitment was not acted on. If this commitment is for the coming year, we need to see wherein note 2 of year 1393’s budget article the oil ministry is committed to this great task.”

The secretary-general of the Islamic Coalition Party added that “the oil ministry should not play the role of the country’s second treasury. If it has financial resources at its disposal, let it deposit them along with the government’s revenue so that the government can solve its liquidity problems.”

At the end, Habibi thanked the large audience for their presence at the ceremony of celebrating the late Hajj Abu al-Fazl Hajji Heidari and made an announcement. “The Supreme Leader’s condolences were comforting to his respectable family and Hajji Heidari’s friends in the Islamic Coalition Party, and we present our profound thanks to the honorable presence of the Supreme Leader.”
