After 18 months of investigations, there is no email or document or witness's testimony that proves Russia-Trump collusion. In short, there is still no smoking gun.
If Trump had nothing to hide, wouldn’t he — along with Fox News and his Republican enablers — let the various investigations play out in accordance with the facts?
Putin doesn’t abide opposition. He prefers nodding heads and zipped lips. That’s too bad. Because there are likely a few figures in the Kremlin who wouldn’t mind sidling up, throwing an arm around his narrow shoulders and inquiring, “So how’s that Trump scheme working out for you?”
The weak point in the hunt for collusion between the Trump campaign and agents of the Russian government during last year’s U.S. election is this: “collusion” at that level requires a degree of planning, preparation and organization. Discipline and co-ordination. Fine minds, working in tandem. Trump and his people have none of that.
