The U.S. administration is shocked that the Tusk administration threw out the missile shield propositions delivered in the final rounds of negotiations in Washington last Monday and Tuesday. Yet, the Americans are open to further discussions.
In the final round of negotiations about the missile shield, the U.S. administration offered Poland the Patriot rockets on Polish territory on a “rotating basis.” Yet this proposition was thrown away by the Polish government as unsatisfactory.
The Patriot missiles, which the Tusk administration has been requesting for an extended amount of time, were the key element in American aid to help modernize the Polish defense system and military. They were to stay in Poland for one month during each quarter of the year.
In the future, this could result in a permanent positioning of the Patriot missiles on Polish soil. The missiles would be handed over with no fees, as requested by the administration.

It was taken very poorly that the Polish Prime Minister openly and publicly threw away America’s offer on the Fourth of July, America’s Independence Day.
