Madrid- Social Networks, YouTube, iPhone... and now, video games. Obama's campaign continues to insist on filling all available holes in various virtual worlds and the players of "Burnout Paradise" for Xbox 360, a popular online car racing and crashing game, have become his latest target.

This surprise leaped out last week, when a player found Obama's face and the heading "Early voting has begun, voteforchange.com" on a billboard. It has just been confirmed, now that a representative from Electronic Arts, the distributing company behind the game, told the blog GigaOM that "the Obama campaign has paid for in-game advertising in Burnout."

This is not the first time paid advertising has appeared- in the case of this game, as billboards along the racetracks- in a video game. In fact, it's only getting more and more common but it's still quite rare to find an ad featuring political content.

Although, as the company representative says, they accept these ads just "like most television, radio and print outlets." Also clearly, "these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams."

With this, there is little advertising terrain left for the Democratic candidate to conquer on his way to the White House, and he has been much more active than his Republican rival, John McCain. Surely these ads won't decide who reaches the Oval Office, but they will certainly help.

MADRID.- Redes sociales, YouTube, iPhone... y ahora, videojuegos.
